International Day of Peace

Bluegrass residents are really enjoying monthly visits from the “Hoe and Hope” Garden Club! Fresh cut and silk flower arrangements are made by residents with the help of these wonderful ladies, and enjoyed by all as they adorn the dining room tables. On “International Day of Peace”, Flower Power prevailed as the club assisted our “flower children” with arrangements while we enjoyed some Morning Munchies and groovy tunes from the 60’s! Some of our hippies participated in the “Make Hugs, Not War” contest, collecting hugs and signatures all day long from their peers, staff, families and ever visitors that they didn’t even know! It was a cool day, man…Peace Out!!
