Hello, my name is Joetta, the new Business Office Manager. I have over 6 years of experience in long term care. I started out as a CNA and transitioned to Admissions Director and most recently to Business Office Manager.

A little bit about me, I was born and raised in Carter County KY. I have a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Morehead State University. Recently moved to Lexington, KY. I have two daughters and two granddaughters. A few of my favorites; color Red, drink coffee, food steak. I enjoy reading and spending time with my girls in my spare time.

Introducing the new Quality of Life Director, Frankie Harlow

Hi everybody, my name is Frankie, your new Quality of Life Director (Activities). I have 20 years of experience in long term care. At my previous place of work I was also the QOL Director with many years of experience in coordinating daily activities, events, outings and warming your home with lots love, laughter and happiness.

A little about myself: I was born and raised in Frankfort, KY and graduated from Franklin County High School in 2003. I have attended college at KY State University and some at UK. I also hold a State Registered Nursing Assistant Certificate. I have two older brothers and 1 beautiful niece named Kamrie, and a handsome nephew named Brayden. Both my parents are still living and are very supportive with my life and career path. I have a wild, funny and adventurous Chiweenie dog. She brings so much joy and happiness to my life!

Mother’s Day Parade

Bluegrass Care & Rehab, along with the local Fire Department and many family members put on a Mother’s Day Parade for our residents on Sunday, May 10th. The residents were so thrilled and had a wonderful time!

Bluegrass is proud to welcome Kyle Isaacs to our facility! Michael Isaacs came to us 5 months ago and has quickly become part of our family and now we welcome his wife Kyle Isaacs. What an honor to be able to reunite these two.

It’s June…Sum-Sum-Summer time!

June is here. As we exit spring to enter summer let us be mindful of our children and the heat that comes with it. Always praying divine protection, always remembering that the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world, and they that dwell therein.

As we enjoy this season, let us remember that it is the joy of the Lord that gives us strength.

Bluegrass says goodbye to one of our favorite longtime residents, “J” Joseph Burks. He left us to move closer to his home near Mammouth Cave, KY. He served faithfully as our resident chaplain and resident council president.
He will be missed!

April Showers!

Welcome to spring, bling, listen to the birds sing!
All is well at Bluegrass in April…as we celebrate Easter…
There will be egg hunts…the “Seven Last Words of Christ” Spring break cruising; Red hat society; Bluegrass bingo…AND!!! We will be at the races at Keeneland race course!!! Continued bible study with prayer and WOW!!! Worship on Wednesday nights.
We will also celebrate both Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday with special services. There will also be dinner after the Easter service. Please don’t miss out! Come and join us!
